These are concept designs of troopers set in a desert environment.
The Solders are very inspired by, Halo, ghost in the shell, appleseed and Mass Effect armor designs.

These designs are my own and a part of my final exam school project in concept art.

I apologise for the intrusion, but I can't help but to inquire what the origin of the word written on the girl's gorget is. It is just that, it looks somewhat, uh, East European...:bucktooth:

I found a russian translator website where I could get any word translated to cyrillic letters. Its says " Desert " But Im not sure if its just the english word with russian letters.;)

'Пустыня' stands for desert (noun) in Russian.
Regardless, the trooper is totally WH 40K Tau. Means awsum.:w00t:

thats cool, I decided to go with Russian because I wanted a more international future for humanity in space!;) Plus its seems today China and Russia are focusing on their space program, a lot more than the US. I played Tau some years back so yes...they have certainly been very inspired by Tau;)
